虽然我只是一个普普通通的女孩，但我喜欢挑战，热爱生活，不管成功与否，能和大家共同收获喜悦与成长，就很知足了。很快，我们即将步入大学生活，这将是我们人生崭新的一页，在暑假期间，我曾读过《读大学，究竟读什么》这本书，这是一本非常有建设性的书籍，通过阅读和感悟，我知道了大学生最应该具备的能力，那就是要学会独立思考，培养集体荣誉感和社会责任感。是的，参加学生会的选举活动，就给我们提供了这样一个锻炼自己的平台，这是一种荣誉，更是一种责任。俗话说：机遇永远是留给有准备的人的。我很喜欢这样一句话：努力不一定成功，但放弃就意味着失败。只要我们永远保持积极乐观的心态努力做好每一件事情，不管是成就大事还是小事，身边的每一位朋友都会为你而喝彩。

在我看来，竞选学生会除了成绩优良外，更重要的是要拥有一颗责任心和集体主义精神，还要有奉献和吃苦耐劳的精神。每一位老师，每一个同学以及学生会的全体干部都是我们这个大家庭的一分子，只有大家共同参与，合作分工，才能为我们这个校园增添色彩和生机。让它更好的融入这个社会，融入这个时代。

我是08届汉语言文学专业的新生，我从小就喜欢语文，爱好写作，喜欢看新闻，关注社会和实事，因此我也具备了较好的口头表达能力、写作能力和较强的组织能力，我想这也是一名学生会干部应具备的基本品质。其次，要具备较强的工作能力和较丰富的社会实践经验，我曾经参加过很多社会实践活动，比如义务献血，有幸成为一名志愿者去医院看望四川伤员，参加公益演出以及各种各样有意义的实践活动，在学校里，我也曾当过班长和团支书，在同学中树立了威信和良好的形象，也培养了自己的责任心和组织活动的能力。在老师和同学的眼中，我是一个对生活充满热情，富有爱心和责任心的女孩，从小到大，凭借自己的实力和自信，也获得过不少奖项。

我经常对自己说：帮助他人，快乐自己。在为同学们做事情的时候，我也确实体会到了不少快乐。闻一多先生曾说过：要少说多做。是的，每做一件事，都要用心，少说空话，为集体做一些实实在在的事情。我是一个随和热心的人，爱好很多，美术，书法，游泳，写作……不管是学校的活动，艺术节或运动会，还是社会上的实践活动，我都会争取每一次机会，锻炼自己，那是我成长的见证，也是我的人生价值所在。希望能有幸成为学生会的一员，和大家一起努力，尽情挥洒我们青春的光辉。

主席是学生会的领导者，对团总支和学生会负责。主席应该具有责任心、热情和统筹全局的能力，并且能身体力行，踏踏实实地做工作，而我自认为已经具备了这些。如果我有幸当选，我将围绕三点着手学生会工作：

1. 明确为同学服务的本质。学生会的本质工作就是为同学服务，这一点我们不仅要会说，还要在思想上具备这点，重要的是在工作中表现出来，我们大大小小的工作都应该围绕这一点展开，多为同学做一些实事，哪怕再小。因此，这就要求我们学生会成员在素质上能有所提高，处理好与普通同学的关系，我们学生干部本身就是一名学生。对于我自己，我将严以律己，努力克服自己的缺点，起带头表率作用。

2. 树立责任意识。责任是每个人都应该必备的，我们要在工作中树立责任意识。是我们的工作，我们就应该主动去做，并尽最大的努力做到最好。树立责任意识就要求我们不要空谈，要踏踏实实地做好每件事，做好我们的本质工作。

3. 充分发挥团队的作用。学生会是一个集体，是我们大家的，而不是某一个人的。所谓的分部不分家就是我们要团结在学生会这个大家庭里，在做好本职工作的同时去帮助其他人完成工作。特别是一些大型活动，尤其需要我们每一个人去努力。我相信，只要我们团结起来，学生会的工作将会做的更好，学生会也将会更强。
