pandas are my favourite animals. in fact, all the people like pands as well. pandas living in the wild can live for 20 years while the pandas that live in the zoos can have a life of more thqn 30 years.

pandas are really lovely. they can not only climb trees but also swim.

however, the number of pandas is decreasing sharply.

it is said that there are only 1000 pandas remaining in the world at present. it is sad news for all of us.

therefore, we are supposed to take measures to protect pandas in order to prevent them from dying out.

in the past, there have been many endangered animals. now they are extinct. does it matter? has our environment been affected by their absence? has the quality of our own life been changed? the answer to these questions is "yes."

it does matter if we destroy an endangered species habitat to develop more farmland, housing or industrial parks. there is a delicate balance of nature. if one small part is removed, it will affect all the other parts. for example, if certain trees are cut down, bats will have no place to roost. if they cannot roost, they cannot breed. if there are no bats, there will be no animal, or bird to eat certain insects that plague our crops.

our environment has been affected by the absence of certain animals. certain flowers are pollinated by butterflies which migrate from canada to mexico. some of the breeding grounds of these butterflies were destroyed. now these flowers are disappearing from certain areas. we will no longer be able to enjoy their beauty.

the quality of our life has been changed. america used to be covered with giant trees. now we have to visit them in one small park. rainforests around the world are being cut down to make room for humans. we will never be able to see or study this fragile ecosystem.

i would encourage us humans to look for other alternatives for our farmlands, housing, and industries. we have alternatives; the animals do not.

在生活中，有许多商人去抓小动物，把它们的皮毛活生生地拔下来，我感到非常的震惊和痛苦!

那些商人专门抓狐狸、麋鹿……很毛绒的小动物，用它们的皮毛来做衣服。看着那些可怜的小动物，真让人感到伤心。

一次，我在大街上，看见一个卖皮衣的商人开着车去抓小动物，把小动物放在车厢里的铁笼子里，那个车厢里全是小动物的鲜血，甚至有些笼子上还有动物的皮毛。当时我害怕得心慌。

看着那些可怜的小动物，我便鼓起勇气悄悄地上了车，想一看究竟。快到了服装厂时，我跳了车，去工厂的另外一面的窗户偷看一下，他们为什么要抓小动物。

当我看见他们在对小动物说：“呵呵……让我们再用你的毛取暖一下吧!再过三分钟我就把你的皮毛拔下来做皮衣!”

说完，那人就哈哈大笑起来，等拔完皮毛后，商人就把被取了毛的小动物扔了出去。那些小动物没毛取暖，再加上没有皮保护自己，都会很痛苦地死去。我眼睁睁看着那只可怜的小动物死去了，我忍不住吗小声地哭了。

我突然想到：给110打电话!

“喂，警察叔叔，您好，我叫卢慧怡，我在喷水池第24号大厦40楼508号，那里有商人抓小动物，把小动物的皮毛拔下来做皮衣，十分残忍!”

不一会儿，警察叔叔来了，把那两个商人抓走了。

经过了这件事情，我和我们班的小朋友们，一起到街上散发保护小动物的宣传单，并说：“请看护小动物，如果看见有坏人携带小动物，就拨打110。”

青蛙的本领很多，它能预报天气，我国有不少的农谚也是反映蛙鸣雨天气的关系的，如“雨后蟾蜍叫，不久大雨到。”青蛙还是捕食昆虫的健将，当青蛙尚处在幼虫的时候，它一天就能吃掉一百多只孑孓，而长大成蛙后，用它灵巧的舌头，平均每天可吃掉七十多只害虫。青蛙还能预报丰收，南宋诗人辛弃疾在西江月中写道“稻花香里说丰年，听取蛙声一片”。

我们学过《狼与鹿》一课，人为保护鹿却过渡的捕杀狼，鹿成破坏森林的祸首，是鹿和凯巴伯森林走向灭亡。这篇课文告诉我们：自然界的各种事物是密切联系的，不能随意破坏生态平衡，不然会产生无法想象的后果。卖青蛙的老爷爷您想想吧：如果您抓一只青蛙，就会放掉七十多只害虫，难道您想看到漫天耀武扬威的蚊子和被蚊子咬的遍体鳞伤的我们吗？
